Reproduction is the ability to procreate. It is an essential feature of living organisms (it distinguishes living from non-living).Reproductive system is the only system that is not essential to the life of the individual. Indeed, this system ensures the continued existence of human species. Sexually mature males and females produce individual reproductive cells or gametes which are brought together by sexual act.
