According to reports, more than 21 lakh candidates have registered for the NEET exam scheduled to be held on May 7, 2023. The NEET 2023 application form became available on March 6th.To complete the submission process, candidates must register, provide personal details, select question medium and exam cities, provide education and upload images and documents. While filling NEET UG 2023 application form, candidates must be ready to upload various documents, including passport size photograph, left and right thumb and fingerprints, signature, postcard size photograph and other necessary documents. Below is the step-by-step guide on filling out the NEET UG 2023 application form. Candidates are advised to follow these registration steps carefully to avoid any mistakes.
Step 1: NEET registration 2023
To start filling out the NEET UG 2023 application form at neet.nta.nic.Candidates need to click the “Fill application form” button. This will redirect them to a new page where they should click 'New Registration'. They will then be redirected to an instruction page which they should read carefully. When finished, they must click on the statement confirming they have read the instructions.
As part of the NEET-UG registration process, candidates will have to provide the following information and create a password that meets the given requirements. After registration, a provisional application number will be allotted, which will serve as a user ID for future login to neet.nta.nic.in in 2023.

Step 3: Uploading scanned documents and images
After filling out the NEET 2023 application form, candidates must upload scanned copies of their photographs and signature per the specifications provided. For this, candidates have to click on 'upload documents'. The required documents to upload are listed below:
The following documents must be uploaded in the NEET 2023 application form:
- Passport photograph: The photograph should have a white background, and the candidate's name and date of the photograph should be included below the image. should be in JPEG size with a range of 10kb to 200kb.
- Signature: The signature must be in black ink on white paper and scanned to a file in JPG format. The file size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
- Left-hand thumb impression: A digital image of the left-hand thumb impression should be uploaded on white paper with blue ink in JPG format with a size range of 10 kb to 200kb.
- Postcard size photo: Candidates should upload a postcard-size photograph in JPG format with a size between 10 kb to 200 kb, in addition to the passport-size photograph.

Step 4: Paying the NEET Application Fee
Once the documents are uploaded as per the specified instructions, the candidates will be offered the option to pay the application fee for NEET 2023. They can click “pay exam fee” and proceed with the payment. It is important to note that NEET UG 2023 application fee can be paid online only. The fee structure for the NEET 2023 application form varies depending on the candidate's category, with different fees for general, OBC/ST/SC and EWS categories Candidates can pay NEET 2023 application fee online mode only.
Payment methods accepted are Debit/Credit/Netbanking or Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider. Applicants should ensure that the credit/debit card used for payment is valid. Candidates are advised to check their theory account balance and theory Internet banking credentials before submitting their application.

Step 5: Printing the NEET acknowledgement receipt

Candidates need to follow these instructions to get the password:
Go to candidates login and click on Forgot Password option .this open up two options.
For the first option, candidates must select “Use security question and its answer”. They must then enter the following information:

- Security question
- Security response
- Enter a case-sensitive security PIN
After entering these details, candidates can click on "Submit" and the system will verify their details. Candidates can reset their password if the information provided is correct.
The second option is "Use verification code sent via text message (SMS) to the registered mobile number". In this case, applicants must provide the following information:
- NEET 2023 Application Number
- Date of birth (DOB) stated in the application
- Enter a case-sensitive security PIN
- After entering these details, candidates can click on “Get Verification Code”. A verification code will be sent to their registered mobile number.
After receiving the verification code, candidates must enter it in the appropriate field and click “Submit”. If the verification code is correct, candidates can reset their password.
After resetting the password, candidates can log in using their new credentials.
NEET application form 2023: Image correction
In case of any discrepancy in the uploaded photograph or signature, NTA will notify all registered candidates to correct them by the last date of submission of the NEET 2023 application form. Candidates can make corrections or corrections in their photograph/signature through the login facility provided by NTA or the correction window. Below are the steps to correct image inconsistencies:
